Easter Tradition

Our "Easter Camping" tradition started when my Grandma was a little girl and has grown and grown. Her parents started taking her and her siblings on a camping trip for the Easter weekend, when there were only 9 of them. It has now grown to over 200 and our camp usually consists of around that many. We always go where there is plenty of sand to dig in and plenty of rocks to climb on. The Easter Bunny hides the baskets in the rocks so that the kids have to climb for them, following the jelly bean trail. This year we were down by Green River. The weather was great for the most part and we really enjoyed our new trailer. My Dad was home from Peru for the week. My boys were like his shadows the whole time. It was fun to watch them chase after him, they think he is the greatest.

That sounds really fun. I can't wait until it warms up and we can start going camping.

Glad you survived another Easter vacation. I just feel bad for that Easter bunny who has to climb those hills to leave the baskets.
